I thought that today being the unofficial start of the weekend, I would give my readers a list of valuable websites and/or blogs to check out in their spare time. Over the years I have found all of these very valuable to my grant seeking, and I hope that they increase others' skills and knowledge as well. I encourage you to send me more links so that I can update this post in the coming months:
- Philanthropy News Digest, a publication of the Foundation Center with news, commentary, articles and much more.
- Charity Channel, an online resource with hundreds of forums, articles, trainings, even a radio station.
- Proposal Writing Short Course, a free online tutorial offered by the Foundation Center.
- Free Management Library, with several articles for the new grant writer.
- Guide for Writing a Funding Proposal, with detailed tips and examples for each section of a typical grant proposal.
- Foundation Finder, a free tool for accessing basic information on funders.
- Nonprofit Guides, with samples and guidelines.
- Grant Proposal, a website with techniques including how to write inquiry letters.
- Grantwriting Tutorial, offered online by the EPA.
- For Grantwriters Only, a learning community and support group for grant professionals.
Hope you have a safe and relaxing weekend!
